Pathway is a SaaS tool for researchers, designers, and product managers, designed for quick validation of UX solutions. Pathway users create usability tests and surveys with various types of blocks and attract respondents with relevant experience.
Our mission is to make research accessible and simple for everyone, helping those who create digital products to make informed decisions and create more convenient and comprehensible products for users.
What you will be working with
Pathway is a service that operates on a cloud infrastructure using containers to ensure stable operation even during large peak loads. The service is constantly supplemented with new functions and integrations, such as various AI tools or Figma.
Stack: React, Node.js, and TypeScript. For data storage, we use PostgreSQL and Firebase, and for infrastructure - Docker, GitHub, GCP (but we’re always eager to explore new solutions and approaches).
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Frontend or Full Stack developer (Middle), who is genuinely passionate about the development process. Our ideal candidate is the one who wants to grow and develop, see how his work directly affects the business, and helps it grow.
What will you be doing:
- Designing and implementing product solutions together with the team.
- Monitoring the technical state of the service, participating in the formation of culture and development processes, to organize work in such a way as to maintain the high speed of the platform development.
- Evaluating the complexity of implementing various product improvements and helping to find the most effective ways to solve them (cheaper, faster, simpler).
- Writing tests for important and complex features, deriving technical metrics, and following them to identify and eliminate errors.
How to know if you're a good fit?
- You have 2 years or more experience as a Frontend or Fullstack developer.
- A strong understanding of how the browser works and its interactions with the server.
- You have a solid grasp of how modern SPAs work, are familiar with Node.js and React; strong understanding of React hooks.
- You can decompose complex tasks and software interfaces into smaller, manageable parts.
- You can justify your decisions, argue them, and are ready for objective dialogue on controversial issues.
